Research Photos
I can provide you with print and/or digital photos of a tombstone, family home, schools, farms, churches, or any other place that is important to you. Cost of photograph includes postage and shipping.
Digital Photographs printed on professional heavyweight photo paper
- $2.00 per 4 x 6 photograph.
- $2.50 per 5 x 7 photograph.
- $3.00 per 8 x 10 photograph.
- 10 photos on a CD for $20.00.
Photograph Repair or Restoration
I can repair your old and badly damaged, faded, cracked photographs as well as your old documents, certificates, faded or damaged letters, drawings and artwork.
A Simple Repair is $25.00 and includes:
· Scanning of prints up to 8.5 x 11 inches,
· Removing “red eyes,”
· Overall correction and enhancement of color and contrast of the image,
· Producing a black-and-white image from a sepia or color image,
· Producing a sepia image from a black-and-white or color image.
A Complex Repair is $60.00 and includes:
· Scanning of prints up to 8.5 x 11 inches,
· Repair of a simple damage, such as a torn or scratched background,
· Retouching wrinkles, freckles, blemishes, whitening teeth or eyes,
· Changing hair color from lighter to darker, correcting skin tone,
· Eliminating odd colors from poor lighting,
· Removing distracting objects, cluttered background, or unwanted persons.
Several factors may affect the final price such as if the image is larger than 8.5 x 11 inches and the amount of damage to the image. Time consuming procedures include the following:
· Restore damaged or stained important areas of a photograph,
· Remove objects or persons from one location and place them in another location,
· Combining objects or persons from two separate photographs,
· Remove reflections in eyeglasses,
· Change shape of person’s body,
· Restore or repair person’s face,
· Recover colors and/or details from an underexposed or overexposed film negative or slide (there are limits, though, how much can be done).
